About the Role
Beginning your journey as a Customer Assistant offers a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience, whether this is your initial job or you bring prior retail expertise seeking fresh challenges. You will work on-site, reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your duties may include operating tills, offering customer advice, or managing tasks in the back shop area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by attentively listening to their needs, addressing questions, offering insightful product recommendations, and providing helpful items like baskets to enhance their shopping experience.
- Familiarize yourself with in-store promotions and schemes and actively encourage customers to take advantage of these offers.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the store by ensuring correct product placement on the shop floor, delivering efficient service at tills, and assisting with stock management in storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and tidy store environment, reflecting a store everyone can take pride in.

Preferred Experience
