Role Overview
As a Curriculum and Accreditation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing course and unit development, reviews, and accreditations within the Faculty of Education. Your collaboration with academic staff, faculty leaders, and professional teams will ensure adherence to university standards, timely submissions, and compliance with accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate curriculum processes for course and unit development, review, and amendments ensuring accuracy and alignment with institutional policies to enhance student progression and transitions.
- Support internal and external accreditation activities by researching requirements, preparing documentation, and liaising with accrediting organizations.
- Gather and analyze data related to enrolments, industry trends, course specifications, and resource needs to inform curriculum planning and decision making.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree complemented by a minimum of two years in course accreditation administration or a related area; an Initial Teacher Education qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting diverse data sources and offering valid recommendations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, adept at juggling priorities, engaging stakeholders, and meeting deadlines consistently.
- Exceptional written communication skills for clear, accurate, and coherent documentation preparation.
Preferred Experience
Experience within higher education settings related to curriculum, accreditation, academic governance, or student services is highly valued. Applicants with transferable skills matching the criteria are encouraged to apply.
Employment Details & Benefits
- Position type: Full-time, continuing (permanent).
- Location options include Coffs Harbour (NSW), Gold Coast (QLD), or Lismore (NSW), with relocation support offered.
- HEW Level 5 salary band ranging from AUD 83,563 to 92,857 annually, plus 17% superannuation, totaling up to AUD 108,643.
