Key Responsibilities

  • Examine Maintenance History File (MHF) worksheets, vendor release certificates, and all related documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of the performed maintenance tasks.
  • Confirm that all maintenance records adhere to regulatory standards, customer requirements, and Pratt & Whitney Canada Quality Procedures.
  • Verify the presence of essential records, including Life Limited Parts (LLP), full history records, airworthiness certificates, and mandated documents within work packages.
  • Conduct engine logbook reviews encompassing Life Consumption Factor (LCF) calculations and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Time Since New/Overhaul (TSN/TSO) verification during shop visits.
  • Ensure consistency between reports, release tags, material labels, and physical parts/components issued during engine assembly.
  • Detect any non-conformities in documentation and collaborate with operations personnel for timely resolution.
  • Participate actively in pre-induction meetings involving cross-departmental teams such as Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Vendors.
  • Work closely with internal teams to promptly address issues concerning documentation, traceability, and compliance.
  • Validate and prepare required documents for releasing completed engines back to service, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of engine release packets to Customer Managers.
  • Compile and verify critical data according to established shop visit report formats for submission to customers.
  • Maintain, secure, and archive engine shop visit history records appropriately for future reference.
  • Manage storage of Maintenance History Files and records either at Pratt & Whitney Canada or authorized vendor locations.
  • Accurately input and update information in the Quality Control Track System to reflect maintenance and quality controls.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • Possession of CAAS engine category certification or equivalent qualifications is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, or in quality control, production planning, or scheduling roles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of effective problem-solving, prioritization, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to support operational needs.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge or practical experience with SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning systems is an advantage.
