Job description
Job Overview
As a Courier with FedEx Australia in Launceston, Tasmania, you will be entrusted with the accurate, safe, and timely pickup and delivery of packages. You will ensure order accuracy by verifying contents and scanning packages, while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the security of all parcels.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute collection and delivery of packages securely along prescribed routes within strict time deadlines.
- Confirm package content accuracy during pickup and delivery by verification and scanning processes.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by providing attentive and professional service and ensuring proper packaging security.
- Promptly communicate any issues encountered such as delivery problems, damaged shipments, or incorrect addresses.
- Perform additional assigned tasks as required.
Requirements
- Possession of an Australian Minimum Medium Rigid (MR) Truck license along with a Forklift licence.
- At least one year of professional driving experience.
