Key Responsibilities

• Precisely count and reconcile large volumes of cash, chips, and vouchers from multiple casino areas such as slots and table games.
• Operate and maintain counting equipment including currency and coin counters.
• Organize and balance daily cash deposits from gaming zones.
• Safely maneuver heavy motorized trolleys transporting cash boxes and equipment between gaming sections and the count room.
• Create daily and end-of-shift financial reports.
• Input counts and reconciliation data into the casino's accounting systems accurately.
• Promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during counts.
• Adhere strictly to internal controls, gaming regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Handle cash, chips, and assets with utmost security.
• Support audits conducted by internal or external regulatory authorities.
• Maintain professional communication with other departments including gaming staff and management to ensure accurate fund transfers.
• Address questions or concerns relating to cash counting and reconciliation tasks.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of count room operations.
• Assist in training new cashiers or count room staff as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or a comparable qualification.
• Prior cash handling, banking, or cashiering experience, preferably within a casino or a similar setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Physical capability and dexterity to operate motorized trolleys and handle heavy cash containers in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience working with automated counting machines and systems.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with accounting software.
• Ability to remain standing or seated for long durations as required.
