Job Description

We are seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join our cost management team in Doha, Qatar, reporting to the Head of Project Control Department. You will contribute to developing advanced solutions to address real-world energy challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement effective cost control procedures.
  • Develop budgets and dedicated tools to monitor project costs accurately.
  • Estimate total forecasts including quantities, costs, and anticipated results.
  • Conduct risk analyses on EPC contracts to identify major cost impact items for project managers or COO.
  • Manage commitment controls and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
  • Support project managers in optimizing and enhancing budgeted profits.
  • Prepare and follow up on change orders and claims.
  • Generate monthly internal Project Management Reports and external client status reports.
  • Create monthly cash flow projections.
  • Verify invoice accuracy and perform invoice validations.
  • Produce statistical and close-out reports to improve data feedback and future contract estimations.
  • Adhere to company and client Health, Safety, and Environment management systems.
  • Comply with corporate quality standards outlined in the quality manual.
  • Follow all documented departmental procedures and policies.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in English language communication.
