Role Overview
The Payroll Client Services Coordinator supports smooth payroll operations by resolving customer payroll inquiries. This entry-level role involves learning payroll procedures, mastering support workflows, and efficiently addressing standard client issues using documented resources and escalation protocols. Attention to detail, clear communication, and adherence to organized operational processes are essential. As experience grows, coordinators are expected to independently handle a wider variety of payroll queries while expanding their knowledge of payroll systems and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Address customer questions concerning payroll processing, discrepancies, and platform usage through multiple communication channels, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
- Operate within established workflows and uphold company values and customer service codes.
- Accurately diagnose payroll issues utilizing available tools and materials, escalating complex cases to senior colleagues when needed.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of issues and their resolutions.
- Communicate progress and resolution timelines effectively and professionally to customers.
- Execute operational procedures consistently, following internal guidelines and documentation standards.
- Identify recurring issues and gaps in documentation or processes to aid team efficiency improvements.
- Develop foundational payroll knowledge and familiarize oneself with payroll compliance regulations applicable to supported regions.
- Work under the guidance of the Manager, Payroll Client Services within the APAC team; no direct reports.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this full-time position is USD 19,650 to USD 49,700, with actual salary determined by factors such as location, skills, experience, and market demand.
