Overview
This position is based in India, preferably at Dehradun or Gurgaon offices. The role focuses on supporting the rollout of Competency Management System (CMS) 2.0 by coordinating among CMS Lead, Technical Advisors, and Technology teams. The coordinator will manage CMS and Question Bank (QB) data digitization and upkeep, and assist with interface and issue resolution on the digital platform. This is primarily a role involving coordination, documentation, and digital productivity rather than technical expertise, although a technical background is necessary to interact effectively with stakeholders in oil and gas competency content.

- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot for efficient content preparation like summarization, drafting, and data refinement.
- Serve as the liaison between the CMS Lead and Technical Advisors by assigning, monitoring, and ensuring closure of tasks related to CMS 2.0 without making technical content decisions.
- Draft, manage, and facilitate the approval and publishing workflow of Job Descriptions.
- Support internal audits and maintain relevant audit documentation and trackers.
- Provide coordination assistance as a backup for the Technical Office Manager during absences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Petroleum, Chemical or related fields is mandatory.
- Professional experience of 3 to 5 years, preferably within Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, or Oilfield Services sectors in roles like Technical Office, Competency/Training Coordinator, Document Controller, Project Coordinator, or QA/QC Coordinator.
- Candidates from other asset-heavy industries e.g., Power, Petrochemicals, Refining, or Marine, with strong coordination skills, are also eligible.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and dashboard creation.
- Advanced skills in MS Word encompassing professional formatting, templates, styles, and version control.
- Strong computer literacy and quick adaptability to new digital platforms.
- Practical familiarity with AI tools for content and data tasks.
- Working experience with SharePoint, MS Teams, and Outlook.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Desired Traits
- Excellent coordination ability with a persistent and polite follow-up approach involving multiple stakeholders including senior Technical Advisors.
- Highly methodical, detail-focused, and process-oriented work style.
- Self-motivated and capable of autonomous work after initial briefings.
- Comfortable handling high-volume, repetitive documentation while maintaining accuracy.
- Positive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to undertake miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Familiarity with Competency Management Systems and Learning Management Systems.
- Exposure to internal and external ISO audits support.
- Experience in creating or maintaining Job Descriptions, Competency Matrices, or Question Banks.
