Ralsonics specializes in engineering and manufacturing advanced ultrasonic cleaning and industrial parts washing systems, delivering highly reliable and precision-automated equipment to address intricate surface treatment issues for premier industrial customers.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Controls and Automation Engineer to lead the electrical and automation system design of our machinery. This position encompasses designing electrical layouts and programming Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs to operationalize our automated systems. You will be responsible for the entire control system development, from the initial electrical schematics to the final factory acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D electrical panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, ensuring compliance with industrial safety and load specifications.
- Design, program, and deploy clear and logical automation code for Mitsubishi PLCs; create user-friendly HMI interfaces for machine operation and diagnostics.
- Select and integrate sensors, drives, motors, and pneumatic controls to flawlessly execute mechanical operation sequences.
- Engage directly in wiring, debugging, testing, and commissioning on the shop floor; resolve hardware and software issues to achieve seamless machine performance.
- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) for electrical panels and maintain up-to-date program backups along with operational manuals for clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 to 5 years of demonstrable experience in industrial automation, particularly in electrical panel design and PLC programming.
- Strong practical programming skills with Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs; experience here is essential.
- Competency in using AutoCAD for electrical schematic drafting.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial control elements such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, relays, proximity sensors, and pneumatic systems.
- Educational qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Compensation & Location
- Salary Range: ₹300,000 to ₹500,000 per annum, dependent on programming skills and Mitsubishi PLC expertise.
- Workplace: Vasai, Maharashtra, with preference for candidates residing along the Western suburban railway network.
- Employment Type: Full-time position.
