Control Operator

Position Overview

We seek an experienced Distributed Control System (DCS) Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of industrial control and automation systems. The role aims to guarantee safe, dependable, and continuous plant functioning in a cement manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Perform programming, configuration, and modifications of PLCs and DCS.
• Assist during system commissioning phases and plant startup processes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to industrial communication networks.
• Collaborate with plant operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth functioning.
• Conduct system integration and manage network configuration tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control, or Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of experience working in industrial process automation.
• Proven practical experience with Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7, Rockwell ControlLogix, and FactoryTalk systems.
• Strong expertise in network configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Prior experience in cement manufacturing plants or continuous process industries is advantageous.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Siemens PCS 7, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk.
• Experience with DCS, PLC programming and operation.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP.
• Strong troubleshooting and industrial automation skills.
• System integration capabilities.
