Role Summary
The Contracts Manager role, based on-site in Vishakhapatnam, entails comprehensive responsibility for managing the entire lifecycle of commercial and government contracts. This includes drafting, analyzing, and negotiating terms and conditions, while ensuring all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Working collaboratively with sales, finance, delivery, and legal teams, the Contracts Manager will identify and mitigate risks, facilitate pricing and proposal preparation, and maintain meticulous contract records. Additional duties include monitoring contract execution, handling renewals and modifications, preparing relevant reports and dashboards, supporting audits and certification processes, driving enhancements in contract management processes, and offering training on contract policies and best practices to internal teams.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating both commercial and government contracts.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles applicable to IT and consulting services.
- Experienced with contract management or document control systems and advanced skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Superior communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex contractual provisions to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments including sales, finance, delivery, and legal in a dynamic work environment.
- Highly organized and analytical, with a keen focus on detail, deadline adherence, and making data-driven decisions.
- Academic background with a bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or legal certifications are advantageous.
- Industry experience within IT, engineering, or professional services sectors, preferably acquainted with ISO-certified or stringent regulatory frameworks.
- Commitment to working physically at the Vishakhapatnam site while upholding strong ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
