About the Role
Convergint is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. Working under supervision, this position involves supporting contract management processes by providing timely responses to clients and internal teams, tracking subcontractor activities, and maintaining efficiency within the legal and contracts department.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration of Master Subcontract Agreements, including prequalification, insurance, and Workers' Compensation Board documentation in line with our Subcontractor Management Plan.
- Coordinate with the legal department and escalate contract-related concerns to the appropriate legal resources.
- Manage uploading of contracts for legal review into the contracts database.
- Collect insurance certificates, bonds, and related documentation as required by request for proposals and contract specifications.
- Assist the Sales Team with the Convergint FlexPay Lease Program.
- Facilitate contract signature gathering, track document status, mail, and archive all Canadian contracts and necessary paperwork.
- Maintain and monitor provincial licenses and their renewals across all Canadian sites.
- Oversee Convergint's security clearance procedures in compliance with ACSO standards.
- Support safety prequalification submissions for request for quotations and project awards.
- Organize training sessions and track certifications related to safety, trades, and products for colleagues nationwide.
- Contribute to the development of new safety programs and nationwide communications.
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, embodying the company's customer-first philosophy.
- Adhere to provincial and local regulations, company health and safety policies, and established best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously enhance the operations of Convergint's Technology Center and the organization.
- Stay informed about the latest company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional representation of Convergint in appearance and conduct at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication abilities, comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Basic understanding of legal aspects related to contracts, liens, insurance, and bonds.
- Experience with accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent customer service skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and outcomes.
- Team-player with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective organizational and time management capabilities.
- French language skills are an asset.
Qualifications
- College diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred; substantial relevant experience will be considered.
- Contract Management Certification is advantageous.
- At least two years of experience in contract administration.
- Minimum of one year financial experience within a construction environment.
