Job description
About the Role
SK-II, a renowned beauty brand under Procter & Gamble, is establishing an exclusive in-house creative studio in Singapore. This studio crafts flagship campaigns, films, product launches, and retail experiences that resonate culturally across Asia. You will be the inaugural content creative strategist, responsible for understanding youth culture influences in cities like Shanghai and Tokyo, and infusing those insights into impactful content strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end content strategy for major campaigns, from extracting consumer insights, devising platform plans to shaping creative concepts.
- Synthesize data, social listening, and community signals into digestible, actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with art directors and copywriters to develop platform-native formats, episodic series, engaging hooks, and innovative creator concepts.
- Maintain a strong pulse on youth culture particularly in China (Douyin, RED, Bilibili, WeChat) and stay ahead on trends in Japan to inform the team preemptively.
- Create scalable content frameworks, formats, and playbooks that extend brand impact beyond isolated campaigns.
- Provide constructive critiques and clear, engaging briefs that elevate the quality of work across creative teams.
Candidate Profile
- Between 5 to 8 years of experience in creative agencies, social-first environments, or production houses with demonstrable success in content strategy and execution.
- Strong familiarity with Chinese social platforms and youth culture; professional-level Mandarin proficiency preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing robust strategy paired with measurable content impact.
- Practical experience collaborating with creators and KOLs, producing content optimized for three or more major platforms.
- Exceptional ability to distill complex data and research into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Team player with humility and high standards, able to enhance contributions of designers, writers, and brand managers, and take initiative independently.
Additional Assets
- Experience working with beauty, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
- Familiarity with integrating AI tools into content creation workflows, understanding their strengths and limitations.
- Exposure to both agency and brand-side operations.
