Container Repairer

About the Role

Join Qube Logistics, one of New Zealand's leading nationwide empty shipping container service providers, as a dependable Container Repairer based in Waimarie, Tauranga. This full-time position involves maintaining and restoring shipping containers and flat racks to industry standards while working alongside a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on rusted and damaged containers and flat racks.
• Engage in welding, cutting, painting, and light fabrication tasks.
• Ensure all repair work complies with industry safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily repair targets.
• Adhere strictly to Qube's zero-harm safety policies during every shift.

Working Hours and Location

This role operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Saturdays required occasionally from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. The workplace is located at Waimarie, Tauranga.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in welding, steel cutting, grinding, painting, and light fabrication.
• Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors under varying conditions.
• A positive, motivated attitude combined with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and actively participate in a team environment.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality, traits highly valued at Qube.
