Consultant - Project Management

About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of analytics, business intelligence, data management, and AI projects. The role involves coordinating project initiation, design, execution, operationalization, handover, and ongoing support to ensure successful delivery aligned with stakeholders' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage work breakdown structures, project plans, risk and issue logs, and other project management tools.
• Lead project delivery teams comprising multiple vendors and internal personnel, ensuring synchronization of development schedules and smooth transitions between teams.
• Manage the progression of deliverables including requirement collection, data ingestion, data modeling, pipeline creation, and data visualization with multiple vendors and teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional groups including product owners, IT data engineering, IT security, business analytics, quality assurance, and data science for project execution.
• Own and update the Data Engineering and Visualization product backlog, ensuring detailed ticket descriptions and proper ticket linkage.
• Prepare and deliver project status updates in bi-weekly review meetings for stakeholders and executives.
• Review client deliverables for quality and secure approvals.
• Address challenges collaboratively with the client and teams, devising solutions to obstacles.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions to assess project outcomes and suggest enhancements to processes.
• Develop and implement effective communication plans for projects and ensure their successful execution.
• Drive customer satisfaction by conducting post-project evaluations and providing feedback for ongoing improvement.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and daily Standups.
• Administer and co-administer various Jira boards, including Enterprise Engineering and Prototyping.
• Act as primary escalation contact for project risks, managing timely communication to relevant parties.
• Assist in tasks such as data analysis, business analysis, documentation, test planning, and user acceptance testing as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, business analytics, or similar disciplines.
• Strong client-facing skills with excellent verbal, written, and listening communication abilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution, organizational change management, facilitation, and development of presentations.
• Required certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Scrum Master.
• A minimum of five years experience delivering projects in data governance, data management, analytics, and business intelligence, with at least four years in a project management capacity.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
