Construction / Site Supervisor

About the Role

We seek a competent Civil Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction projects at two or more sites located within roughly a 30 km radius. The main objective is to ensure all construction activities adhere strictly to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily construction operations across several sites.
• Frequently visit and coordinate activities on multiple sites within a 30 km range.
• Ensure all works comply with approved design documents and project requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, skilled labor, suppliers, architects, and consultants.
• Track progress of works to maintain project schedules.
• Validate quality of materials and workmanship at each site.
• Confirm accuracy of site measurements, dimensions, levels, and quantities.
• Detect and resolve technical or execution issues on site.
• Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and other essential documentation.
• Manage material requisitions and coordinate timely delivery to prevent delays.
• Optimize usage of materials, workforce, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate inspections and acquire necessary approvals from consultants or management.
• Enforce strict adherence to construction safety protocols and site discipline.
• Report project developments, challenges, and requirements to management regularly.
• Prioritize and coordinate tasks across multiple sites based on project needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. degree in Civil Engineering.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision.
• Sound understanding of residential and commercial construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural, architectural, and service drawings.
• Competence in quantity measurement, project estimation, and basic billing procedures.
• Strong coordination and communication capabilities.
• Capability to independently handle multiple construction sites.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel routinely between project locations.
• Proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD familiarity will be advantageous.
