Role Overview

The Construction Estimator will be instrumental in delivering precise cost projections for ground-up construction projects, focusing on multifamily residences, hospitality venues, and higher education facilities. The position is designed to ensure projects stay on course financially and are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for construction initiatives.
• Examine project specifications and drawings to assess the requirements for materials, labor, and equipment expenses.
• Work closely with project managers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing details.
• Monitor project expenditures and provide consistent updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks and propose strategies to avoid exceeding budget limits.
• Stay informed about current market pricing and trends in construction.
• Contribute to contract negotiations and the procurement of materials.
• Assist the team in creating value-engineering ideas to optimize costs.
