Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Concrete Pump Truck Operator to join our dedicated team based in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive remuneration and an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete pump trucks including line and boom pumps in a safe and effective manner.
• Set up equipment on site, managing outriggers and correctly configuring hose and boom placements.
• Monitor the flow and quality of concrete throughout the pouring process.
• Collaborate closely with site supervisors, concrete suppliers, and ground crew to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance to uphold the pump truck’s condition.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols and site-specific requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated prior experience operating concrete pump trucks.
• Possession of a valid Full Class 2 New Zealand Driver’s Licence.
• Sound knowledge of construction site safety regulations.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communicator with strong teamwork abilities.
• Physically capable and comfortable with manual, hands-on tasks.
