About the Role

We are looking for a professional and guest-oriented Concierge to join the team at Salthill Hotel in Galway. This unique position blends high-quality guest services with essential hotel security duties, making you the primary contact for guests while helping to uphold a secure and safe hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Provide assistance with luggage, offer directions, suggest local attractions, and answer guest questions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel to monitor guest access.
• Conduct regular security patrols around the hotel premises.
• React promptly and appropriately to any security incidents, emergencies, or fire alarms.
• Coordinate with hotel management when necessary.
• Follow all established security as well as health and safety protocols.
• Support other departments and handle guest requests as needed.
• Keep detailed records of incidents and security logs.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Irish PSA Security License is mandatory.
• Experience in hospitality, concierge roles, hotel security, or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A neat, professional appearance combined with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Ability to stay composed and confident when facing stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and keen observation skills.
• Availability and flexibility to work during days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
