Role Overview
The Computer Teacher will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate, engaging computer science instruction, covering fundamental computer concepts, digital literacy, and introductory programming. The role involves planning and executing lessons, creating instructional materials, evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining precise records. The teacher will actively participate in curriculum development, integrate technology across the school’s academic program, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance student performance on Tahsili and Qudurat examinations. A key responsibility is to foster a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere and encourage responsible use of technology. This full-time position requires working on-site in Jeddah.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of computer science principles and programming, capable of teaching core theories and practical skills.
- Proven teaching experience encompassing lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Excellent communication abilities to clearly explain complex material and build positive rapport with students and faculty.
- Experience developing standards-based curricula for computer and technology education.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or related disciplines; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Familiarity with educational technology, including learning management platforms and digital teaching resources.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a culturally diverse school environment to support collective academic objectives.
- Strong organizational aptitude, flexibility, and a dedication to continuous professional development.
