Role Overview
The Social Media Content Creator will be employed full-time at MLKIS's on-site location in Jeddah. This position involves planning and producing compelling content for the school’s social media platforms that showcase school events, achievements, and core values. Responsibilities include devising daily posting schedules, capturing photos and short videos on campus, composing engaging captions and posts while maintaining brand consistency, monitoring and responding to online engagement in liaison with school leadership, and analyzing metrics to enhance content strategies. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams will be essential to promote events, announcements, and key initiatives effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in social media content creation encompassing clear caption writing, fundamental graphic design, and short-form video production and editing.
- Capable of planning and implementing content calendars and marketing campaigns aligned with the school’s communication goals and events.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter (X), Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, including the use of analytics tools to measure performance.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are beneficial for engaging the local community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrative staff, and students.
- Strong creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to uphold a professional and student-focused tone across all communication.
- Comfortable working on-site within a school setting, including attending and documenting various school activities and events.
- A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in education, school-based, or youth-centered environments is considered an advantage.
