About the Role and Company
Join a leading, award-winning architecture and design firm in New Zealand as a Communications Specialist. This role is based in Auckland with potential consideration for Wellington or Christchurch locations. The firm is known for its creative, collaborative culture and values strong, effective communication in both internal and external exchanges.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the practice's external and internal communications efforts, manage information processes, and produce a range of materials aligned with the company’s values. Your tasks will include drafting and coordinating submissions for Requests for Proposal (RFP), tender applications, award entries, managing social media content, and enhancing engagement with clients and staff.
Required Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking a professional with between three to six years of relevant experience, ideally from backgrounds such as architecture, art, design, writing, journalism, or the building sector. Candidates may come from communications with strong graphic awareness or from graphics disciplines fortified with proven communications capabilities. Attention to detail, narrative strength, and the ability to work with various written and visual materials are essential. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications is required. Familiarity with the architecture or design sectors is highly desirable.
