Opportunity Overview

This role involves orchestrating grassroots community events designed to unite customers and external partners in impactful, practical settings. It also supports stakeholder and government relations by fostering and maintaining ties with key parties within a regulated industry.

The position demands creating compelling, customer-centric communications across varied platforms—ranging from website stories and videos to sales-facing pitch decks and promotional collateral. Enhancing stakeholder and government engagement and monitoring feedback and sentiment are crucial for early identification of potential issues.

Contributing to marketing campaigns by managing social media scheduling, posting, and community interactions aligned with the broader marketing and social strategies is also a key responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute community-centered events that foster meaningful connections.
  • Assist in developing and sustaining relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Produce clear, accessible content for customers and polished materials for client-facing teams.
  • Monitor external sentiment and provide proactive insights and suggestions as needed.
  • Support marketing tasks including social media management consistent with campaign objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven communications, marketing communications, or engagement background with demonstrable success in project execution and advisory roles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both B2C and B2B audiences, tailoring messaging to maintain clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage event delivery from inception through to completion, including coordination with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Exceptional writing skills capable of crafting both consumer-friendly and formal stakeholder communications.
  • Experience in navigating regulated environments, showing mature stakeholder management and sound judgement.
  • A collaborative team player who is well-organized, practical, and adaptable in a dynamic pace setting.
