Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I with daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Prepare food items strictly following the menu guidelines provided by the Chef de Partie
• Maintain a spotless and hygienic work station in compliance with hotel sanitation standards
• Manage inventory and control food costs related to your section
• Carry out daily mise-en-place and food production tasks across different kitchen or satellite sections
• Execute tasks as directed by immediate supervisors to meet daily operational goals
• Consistently uphold superior preparation standards and keep updated on new recipes, ingredients, and culinary techniques
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to optimize cleanliness, reduce waste, and manage cost efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed professional apprenticeship or chef training program
• Previous work experience in reputable culinary establishments with proven culinary skills
• Effective communication skills in English
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation principles
