Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and service of food items, including setting up mis-en-place for various outlets as needed.
• Follow the Avani food preparation and presentation standards to ensure uniformity and high quality in culinary creations, suggesting improvements to presentation guidelines when appropriate.
• Ensure all work areas are maintained clean and tidy to uphold hygiene standards.
• Uphold food safety measures by applying proper food handling techniques such as correct storage, dating, and rotation of food items; maintain fundamental sanitation and food safety practices.
• Take responsibility for the care and upkeep of all hotel property and equipment.
• Engage in departmental training programs to enhance skills and elevate the standard of hotel services.
• Supervise and ensure compliance with departmental cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Assist in catering events, banquets, and other hotel functions as required.
• Adhere strictly to personal hygiene, grooming policies, as well as all fire safety and health & safety regulations.
