About the Role

The Commerce Media Lead will collaborate closely with the ANZ Executive Leadership Team and cross-functional leaders, spanning marketing, supply chain, sales, finance, R&D, and insights, to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of integrated Search & Retail Media strategies, encompassing both technical SEO and paid SEM to create an effective demand engine.
- Create and implement keyword strategies aligned with category trends, shopper missions, and occasions to dominate digital share of search and shelf.
- Manage high-investment retailer media platforms such as Citrus Ads, Criteo, Amazon Ads, optimizing budgets to maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), incremental sales, and overall contribution.
- Drive test-and-learn initiatives to uncover new performance improvements and algorithm advantages.
- Use advanced data analytics and visualization tools to monitor search rankings, conversion rates, media performance, and ROI, delivering actionable insights to sales and senior leaders to support evidence-based decisions.
- Act as the strategic product owner for Skai retailer platforms, collaborating with Success Managers to gather feedback and propel automation and scalability of campaign management tools.
- Oversee the optimization of product titles, descriptions, and digital assets (hero images, rich media, Enhanced/A+ Content) to boost discoverability and conversion, ensuring brand voice consistency and retailer compliance.
- Define and implement syndication strategies to harmonize digital assets across omnichannel retail environments, protecting brand consistency and pricing integrity.
- Serve as product owner for digital scraping and shelf analytics tools like Data Impact, leading the strategic roadmap and translating data insights into actionable priorities.
- Own end-to-end commerce platforms and operational rhythms, establishing standards, playbooks, and best practices for commerce media, search, and digital shelf management.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team defined by clear accountability, balancing strategic direction with hands-on optimization, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, category, and growth teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- More than 5 years experience in Digital Transformation, eCommerce, or technology-enabled sales environments.
- Expert knowledge of GS1 Standards/GDSN and experience with PIM/DAM platforms such as Salsify or Akeneo.
- Proven track record managing performance marketing campaigns on platforms like Cartology, Criteo, Skai, and Epsilon with strong ROI results.
- Experience working in fast-paced ecommerce settings overseeing the end-to-end online shopper journey.
- Strong understanding of UX/CX principles and their practical application in digital commerce.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full eCommerce technology stack and advanced data analytics capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and SEO principles related to content management.
