Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Collection & Delivery Driver based in Chelmsford, Essex. This permanent role involves 38 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday from 08:42 to 16:18, with opportunities for overtime. The position requires sorting parcels, planning efficient delivery routes, performing vehicle safety checks, and delivering parcels to residential and commercial addresses while maintaining a friendly and dependable customer service.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary of £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months, salary increases to £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Earning potential up to £30,000 per year including overtime
• Weekend premium pay: additional £4.39 for Saturdays and £6.58 for Sundays on contracted hours
• Paid overtime on weekdays and weekends
• Monthly non-pensionable pay addition (£903.84 annually)
• Weekly driving allowance of £26.73

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a full manual UK driving licence (category B, up to 3.5 tonnes), registered to current address, with no more than 6 penalty points
• Physical ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kilograms
