CNC Operator

Position Overview

We are looking to hire four CNC Operators to join a well-established precision engineering firm located in Bristol. This is a permanent role working 37 hours per week on double day shifts from Monday to Friday. The salary range offered is between £31,262 and £37,500, inclusive of shift allowances.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC milling and turning machinery to manufacture precision components.
• Managing machine operations and ensuring the efficient running of processes.
• Conducting quality inspections of machined parts using micrometers, gauges, and vernier calipers.
• Overseeing machine conditions and troubleshooting any issues affecting cutting performance.
• Performing routine maintenance to maintain machine efficiency.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve production methods.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in operating CNC milling or turning machines is essential.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
• Preferred experience in interpreting and working to technical drawings.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule including the possibility of overtime.
