Chronos Consulting, a division of the Coberon Chronos Group, operates globally with 52 offices and specializes in permanent and temporary staffing, recruitment process outsourcing, and business process automation for multinational corporations. The company services clients in the solar photovoltaic (PV) and renewable energy sectors.

Job Overview

The Client Manager role focuses on advancing solar PV and energy storage projects across African countries, including Zimbabwe, Morocco, and Kenya. This position entails identifying new business opportunities, evaluating project feasibility, managing client and stakeholder relations, and leading commercial negotiations to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of solar PV and energy storage initiatives across Africa.
  • Perform site assessments, investment evaluations, policy reviews, and verify project documentation for feasibility.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with project owners, collaborators, and key stakeholders.
  • Plan and engage in commercial negotiation processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external organizations.
  • Prepare legal and contractual documents, including MOUs and agreements.
  • Manage contract signing processes and strategize implementation plans.
  • Oversee commercial aspects throughout all phases of project development and construction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least three years' experience in developing solar PV or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience with commercial and industrial solar projects is advantageous.
  • Competent in financial investment analysis, business negotiations, and autonomous feasibility reporting.
  • Knowledgeable about the power sector and renewable energy industry, including experience liaising with government entities.
  • Basic proficiency in both English and Chinese for communication purposes.
  • Excellent skills in communication, coordination, and report writing.
  • Willingness to undertake international travel.
