Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Client Director to lead strategic expansion within Queensland by managing and growing a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise clients, while also acquiring new key accounts. The role requires working closely with senior executives to align Macquarie Telecom's comprehensive offerings including cloud, data, voice, and mobility solutions with their most vital business and technology goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand long-term relationships with top-tier enterprise customers.
- Proactively seek, engage, and secure new enterprise clients, increasing market presence in Queensland.
- Maintain an active pipeline of business opportunities through consistent development efforts.
- Lead complex sales processes by collaborating with solution architects, subject matter experts, and sales leaders to tailor effective customer propositions.
- Sell a diverse range of products including cloud services, data networks, WAN, voice systems, mobility, and converged communications.
- Establish yourself as a trusted partner and advisor to C-level and senior technology executives such as CIOs and CTOs.
- Capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance account growth and customer value over time.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience in enterprise-level sales or strategic account management, preferably in telecommunications, cloud, or managed service sectors.
- Demonstrated success in winning and nurturing major enterprise accounts.
- Strong proficiency in new business generation with the persistence to open new client opportunities.
- Exceptional ability to engage and influence senior leadership, including C-suite executives.
- Proven aptitude for selling sophisticated technology solutions like IP networks, cloud technologies, mobility platforms, or voice communications.
- Knowledge of structured sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, MEDDICC, or TAS.
- A commercial focus and high motivation driven by a passion for delivering meaningful client outcomes.
