About the Role

The Deli Clerk will perform a comprehensive set of duties timely and professionally, emphasizing high-quality customer service that encourages customer loyalty and supports a positive environment for both employees and shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all food safety standards, operational procedures, health and safety regulations, corporate policies, and related programs.
• Offer attentive and helpful customer service tailored to individual customer requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
• Accurately process customers' deli orders and transactions.
• Execute promotional programs and arrange product displays to enhance merchandising efforts.
• Prepare, handle, and serve deli products safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to sales growth by actively suggesting and promoting deli products.
• Assist with onboarding and training of less experienced team members.
• Manage stock orders and receiving procedures following company inventory guidelines when required.
• Handle department shrinkage according to company protocols.
• Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment consistent with company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Capability to work independently while managing tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Additional Details

Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This role operates on-site within the 0017 Edmonton RSC location under Alberta Store Operations.
