Cleaning Operative

Job Overview

The Cleaning Operative role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas to ensure client and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities may vary depending on the site and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned locations to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Operate and store cleaning equipment properly, ensuring its safety and functionality through regular inspections.
• Report any equipment defects or hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with linen handling systems and use site washing machines for internal laundry where applicable.
• Execute additional deep cleaning or spring cleaning as needed.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations along with Fire Policies at all times.
• Maintain hygiene standards of cleaning components and respond appropriately to customer feedback or complaints in line with company policies.
• Ensure personal presentation, including clothing, footwear, and headgear, meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Engage in training programs provided by the company to enhance performance and suggest improvements when necessary.
• Follow reasonable instructions from Aramark Management.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Prior experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Possess a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrate flexibility regarding work hours and task assignments.
