About the Role

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is dedicated to enhancing environments so that communities can flourish, whether in offices, retail spaces, hospitals, or airports. We seek a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a production facility specializing in bottling soft drinks. This permanent, full-time position is based in Foston, Derbyshire, working Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:00, totaling 37.5 hours weekly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure cleaning equipment is hygienic, well-kept, and safe to operate.
• Adhere strictly to cleaning schedules and meet all agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop familiarity with the designated cleaning areas as well as the specific cleaning agents and tools used.
• Observe all Health and Safety protocols and partake in required training sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and also work independently while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Ability to read and communicate with basic proficiency in English.
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and a proactive work ethic.
• Possesses honesty, self-motivation, and determination.
• Exhibits reliability, diligence, and professionalism in conduct.
