Role Summary

As a Cleaner at Boylesports in Moate, you will be instrumental in keeping the premises pristine and inviting for both customers and employees. This role focuses on hygiene and maintenance across betting areas, bathrooms, and communal sections of the store.

Primary Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing different surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect washrooms, encompassing sinks, toilets, and floor areas.
• Regularly empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
• Ensure betting terminals and gaming zones are kept hygienic and orderly.
• Keep track of cleaning stock and replenish supplies proactively.
• Follow specific cleaning schedules and service protocols consistently.
• Comply with all health and safety standards and internal guidelines.
• Alert management immediately about any maintenance concerns or hazards noticed.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the location.
• Capable of working independently while efficiently managing tasks.
• Demonstrates a keen eye for detail and completes work with thoroughness.
• Possesses good communication skills coupled with a positive and proactive mindset.
• Able to accurately follow instructions and procedures.

Working Hours

The position requires availability for 4 to 7 days per week, with shifts lasting 1 to 2 hours daily, scheduled outside regular Boylesports business hours.
