Job Overview

We are seeking full-time Cleaners to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring successful completion of a background check prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing general cleaning tasks including dusting and disinfecting as specified per client site requirements.
• Ensuring all work meets high quality standards.
• Adhering to scheduled work days and hours.
• Understanding and explaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with provided training.
• Completing all required safety training.

Physical Demands

• Working in a fast-paced environment requiring sound physical and mental health.
• Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach both high and low, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds for 3-4 hours per shift.
• Performing repetitive manual tasks regularly.
• Walking across extensive floor spaces.
• Operating large machinery efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Team-oriented and detail-focused approach.
• Self-driven and motivated to work hands-on and accept direction.
• WHMIS certification (training provided if necessary).
• First aid training is a plus.
