About the Role

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join the team at BAE Systems, Saltgrounds Road, Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an hourly pay rate of £13.45.

Job Duties

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that all equipment remains in safe and working condition, adhering strictly to all service level agreements (SLAs). This role involves learning and understanding the designated cleaning areas, scheduling of cleaning tasks, and correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, all while following health and safety protocols. Successful candidates will complete all required training to perform these duties effectively. The role demands the ability to work both independently and within a team while fostering positive relationships with clients and consistently delivering excellent customer service. A mindset geared toward continuous improvement and exceeding expectations is essential.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have at least basic communication and English reading skills. While prior cleaning experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Flexibility, honesty, self-motivation, reliability, and a strong work ethic with a professional demeanor are crucial attributes for success in this role.
