Role Summary

Earn between 13.45 and 13.65 per hour working a 35-hour week contract with 30-35 days holiday pro rata. Benefits include a 10% discount on in-store purchases and a pension scheme.

As a Cleaner, you will maintain the store’s hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring a positive experience for customers and a pleasant environment for colleagues. You will be responsible for keeping the store tidy and adhering to high hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the store thoroughly.
• Keep trolley bays, car park, and outdoor areas clean and presentable.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment with confidence.
• Attend to welfare facilities including toilets and waste/recycling areas.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualities

• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proactive and hands-on with attention to detail.
• Strong motivation to achieve the best results for the store and team.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Additional Information
