Role Overview

Join Lidl as a Warehouse Cleaner, playing a crucial role in maintaining high hygiene and safety standards across our warehouses. Based in Motherwell, Scotland, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our distribution centers, ensuring a clean, safe environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness across all warehouse areas including floors, fixtures, and fittings, promptly addressing spillages.
• Remove and dispose of waste packaging to keep walkways clear and safe.
• Stock and manage 'clean as you go' stations with necessary supplies such as tissue rolls and hazard signage.
• Ensure fire exits remain unobstructed and free from litter at all times.
• Empty recycling stations and transfer contents to designated recycling locations.
• Operate cleaning machinery confidently to maintain hygiene standards.
• Consistently enforce hygiene and Health and Safety guidelines throughout the facility.

Required Qualifications and Personal Traits

• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness and safety.
• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles preferred but not mandatory.
• Commitment to adhering to corporate codes of conduct and internal policies.
• Flexibility to undertake various tasks within the warehouse excluding goods picking when needed.
