Clean and Clearance Operative

Job Overview

We are seeking a Clean and Clearance Operative to join our Empty Homes team, responsible for maintaining and readying properties in the Exeter area. This permanent, full-time position requires a motivated individual with strong customer service abilities and a proactive attitude.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply treatments for damp and mould in occupied properties to ensure healthy living conditions.
• Handle the clearance of properties and gardens, preparing them for occupancy or maintenance.
• Perform basic garden and ground upkeep tasks to maintain the property's exterior.
• Support other members of the trades team as needed to complete various tasks.
• Operate effectively in a customer-centric environment while meeting established performance standards.
• Follow structured procedures carefully, maintaining accurate records of all work performed.
• Carry out physically demanding tasks including lifting and working at heights, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must reside in the Exeter area for timely job site access.
• Possess a valid full UK driving license.
• Willingness to undergo a basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which will be funded by the employer.
