Overview
We seek an experienced Class 5 Tipper Truck Driver to join a busy civil contractor operating within the Waikato region. The role involves managing tipper truck operations at various civil construction sites, transporting aggregate, spoil, and other materials while coordinating closely with site supervisors and crew members. This position is suitable for individuals with solid tipper truck driving experience who are comfortable working in active civil environments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage between $32 and $38, depending on experience

Key Duties
- Operate Class 5 tipper trucks across multiple civil construction locations
- Transport a range of materials, including aggregate and spoil
- Perform site and quarry runs as needed
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily checks on vehicle condition and safety
- Adhere to all site and company safety protocols
- Maintain effective communication with site crews and supervisors
- Provide assistance to the broader crew whenever required
Required Experience and Skills
- Possess a valid and current Class 5 driver’s license
- Proven experience in operating tipper trucks
- Background in civil construction is preferred
- Comfortable and confident driving in active, dynamic civil site environments
- Experience with Road Ranger manual gearbox is advantageous
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
- Demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic
