Class 4 Driver - Timaru

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 4 driver to join our Allied Concrete team at the Timaru Plant. This full-time position involves delivering ready-mix concrete across the Southland region, working alongside a supportive crew focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule and Pay

• 40 hours per week
• Working hours between 5 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Saturday, with possible early starts
• Hourly wage ranging from $31 to $33

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all duties in line with the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
• Ensure timely and accurate loading, unloading, and delivery of concrete from the plant to client sites
• Maintain high customer service standards by keeping the truck clean and in optimal condition

Required Qualifications and Traits

• Possession of a clean and current Class 4 or 5 Driver's License
• Strong commitment to health and safety protocols
• Familiarity with the Road Ranger Gearbox system
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Punctuality and reliability
• Physical fitness and attentiveness to personal appearance
• Compliance with stringent Drug and Alcohol testing policies, including random, pre-employment, and post-incident testing
