Class 4 Driver - Wanaka

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Class 4 driver to join the Allied Concrete Wanaka Plant, part of the HW Richardson Group. This position involves operating ready-mix concrete deliveries across the Southland region and requires a commitment to safe and reliable service.

Job Details

• Full-time position with 40 working hours per week
• Shift timings typically between 5am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, with early starts as needed
• Competitive hourly wage between $31 and $33
• Supportive and friendly work environment
• Provision of full uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all tasks in line with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies to the highest standards
• Load, unload, and deliver ready-mix concrete efficiently and punctually from plant to customer sites
• Maintain customer satisfaction by representing Allied Concrete professionally and ensuring the truck is clean and well-maintained

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a clean and current Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s license
• Dedicated to following company health and safety regulations
• Experienced and comfortable operating a Road Ranger gearbox
• Availability to work flexible hours
• Punctual, reliable, and physically fit with a professional appearance
• Willingness to comply with the company’s strict drug and alcohol testing policies, including random, pre-employment, and post-incident tests
