Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Class 2 Driver to become part of our close-knit team in Papakura. This role involves delivering LPG gas bottles safely to customer sites, interacting professionally with customers, performing stock and compliance checks, and loading/unloading bottles adhering strictly to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Deliver gas cylinders to varied customer locations efficiently and safely.
- Engage with customers courteously to foster positive relationships.
- Conduct stock inventories and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Safely load and unload gas bottles while following safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Must possess a clean Class 2 driver's license.
- Minimum two years' experience driving Class 2 or higher vehicles in New Zealand.
- Maintain a clean Ministry of Justice record.
- Good physical fitness to handle the demanding nature of the work.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to instructions.
- Forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement beneficial; the company supports obtaining these if not held.
- Focus on health and safety due to handling hazardous materials.
- Reliable personal transport to commute to work.
