Overview
Join a leading insurance company in Ireland as a Claims Handler specializing in property claims. Reporting directly to the Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of property and mixed claims within a cooperative pre-litigation environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of property and related pre-litigation claims from initiation through to resolution.
- Develop and implement clear claims strategies while carefully assessing policy coverage.
- Collaborate closely with loss adjusters, brokers, and clients to facilitate claim processing.
- Identify and pursue suitable settlement avenues throughout the life of each claim.
- Utilize both telephone communication and direct engagement methods to help achieve settlement objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of CIP qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of three years’ experience handling claims within the General Insurance sector, preferably focusing on property claims.
Compensation and Work Arrangements
- Competitive salary and opportunity for bonuses; base salary depends on experience level.
- Hybrid working schedule starting with 4 days in office for the initial six weeks of training, then 3 days in office for the subsequent six weeks, followed by a regular pattern of 2 days in office and 3 days remote.
