Job description
Role Overview

As a Motor Claims Advisor, you will manage each claim from initiation through to resolution. You will interact with customers about incidents, coordinate repairs or rental vehicles, and maintain clear communication on claim progress.
Key Duties
- Handle claims comprehensively from lodging to closure.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customers, repairers, and assessors, ensuring continuous updates and coordination.
- Manage multiple claims simultaneously using organized workflows and prioritization.
- Interpret policy information and evidence to make just and accurate decisions following company guidelines.
- Authorize repairs, arrange for hire vehicles, process payments, manage quotes, and address customer inquiries.
- Document all claim details thoroughly to guarantee clarity and regulatory compliance.
- Engage with customers, often in stressful situations, to guide them through the claims process.
- Develop in-depth understanding of repair processes, assessments, and the full lifecycle of claims.
Performance Expectations
- Produce precise and complete claim records upon initial documentation.
- Communicate decisions transparently, ensuring customers comprehend outcomes.
- Provide clarity to customers about subsequent steps after each interaction.
- Maintain workload organization to prevent backlogs and delay.
- Demonstrate empathy while applying consistent and fair decision-making.
- Adhere strictly to compliance, privacy, and risk protocols.
- Preserve professionalism and composure during challenging customer interactions.
Training and Development
