Job Overview
We are seeking a Civil Estimation Engineer for a leading client in Saudi Arabia to join the team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This role entails reviewing bid documents and preparing thorough cost analyses to support project bids and execution.
Primary Duties
- Analyze Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents, drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and contract terms.
- Conduct quantity take-offs to develop accurate, detailed cost estimates.
- Calculate costs related to labor, materials, equipment, subcontracting, and indirect expenses.
- Prepare estimates specifically for earthworks, trenching, concrete applications, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and micro-tunneling, valve chamber construction, and other civil engineering tasks.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, planning, and project departments throughout the bidding process.
- Compile commercial proposals, prepare bid summaries, and generate cost comparison reports.
- Assist with budget assessments, contract change requests, and claims analysis.
- Ensure all estimates meet the standards set by Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
