Civil Engineer Graduate Trainee

About the Role

Join House Construct as a Graduate Trainee in Civil Engineering, working from Nagarbavi, Bangalore. This position is tailored for recent graduates eager to gain practical experience in site execution, design coordination, and project management, establishing a robust groundwork for a career in civil engineering and construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily supervision and monitoring of construction site activities.
• Support in preparing drawings, Bills of Quantities, and material estimation.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely progress.
• Help maintain quality control and enforce safety protocols on site.
• Maintain records of site progress, reports, and all pertinent documentation.
• Provide assistance to senior engineers with project scheduling and planning.
• Learn and apply relevant Indian Standards codes, construction norms, and industry-best practices.
• Participate in site measurements, surveys, and quantity take-offs.
• Assist in billing processes including verification of contractor bills.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, expected graduation in 2025 or 2026, or relevant batch.
• Minimum academic score of 60% or equivalent CGPA.
• No active academic backlogs at joining.
• Open to working onsite and at various project locations as required.

Skills Required

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and Revit preferred.
• Understanding of construction materials, methods, and Indian Standards codes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Enthusiasm to learn and adapt to dynamic site environments.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
