Job description
Role Overview
The Judicial Service of Ghana is seeking qualified lawyers to be considered for appointment as Circuit Court Judges. Successful applicants will hold a pivotal position in the judiciary, presiding over cases within the Circuit Court jurisdiction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Applicants must be Ghanaian nationals registered as lawyers in Ghana.
- A minimum of five years' standing at the Bar is mandatory.
- Proficiency in word processing software such as Microsoft Word is required.
Assessment Process
Candidates will be required to undertake a written examination, an ICT proficiency test, followed by an interview after passing these assessments.
Application Details
Application forms can be purchased for GH¢100.00 at the Finance Directorate of the Judicial Service located in the Supreme Court Building.
Applicants should submit the completed application form, resume, copies of enrollment and other relevant certificates including LLB certificates, along with contact details of three referees. These documents must be sent through the heads of their chambers, law firms, or departments to the Judicial Secretary at the Judicial Service of Ghana, Supreme Court Administration Block, P.O. Box 119, Accra.
