CI Flexo Plate Mounter

About the Role

RKN Flexible Packaging, located in Chennai, is seeking candidates for the position of CI Flexo Plate Mounter. This role primarily involves assisting with the precise mounting of flexographic printing plates on sleeves or cylinders as part of the printing preparation process. It is well suited for freshers or candidates with up to two years of experience holding a diploma or ITI certification in Printing, Mechanical, Production, or related technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the mounting of flexo printing plates accurately onto sleeves and cylinders.
• Ensure correct positioning and alignment of printing plates to maintain print quality.
• Inspect the condition and proper mounting of plates prior to print production.
• Assist the printing team during job setups and plate changeovers.
• Maintain precise registration and accuracy for mounting processes.
• Handle all sleeves, plates, and related mounting materials with care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the plate mounting area.
• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions given by senior operators.
• Coordinate effectively with the prepress and printing departments.
