About Daikan Hospitality Group

Daikan Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic and seasoned Chief Executive Officer to spearhead the daily functions and strategic direction of the company. The CEO will be the top executive responsible for shaping and realizing the Group’s vision, strategy, and financial goals, focusing on expanding and managing Daikan Izakaya and Daikan Ramen brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and drive the Group’s strategic initiatives, growth trajectories, and major corporate decisions aimed at enhancing revenue, profitability, brand reputation, and market stance.
• Safeguard and elevate the integrity of Daikan Izakaya and Daikan Ramen brands by maintaining high-quality standards, excellent guest experiences, and consistent brand guidelines.
• Oversee expansion efforts within the UAE, GCC, and international markets, including site identification, investment evaluations, partnership formations, and successful launches of new outlets.
• Take complete ownership of the Group’s profit and loss, focusing on boosting revenue, managing costs, optimizing cash flow, securing ROI, and nurturing key business alliances.
• Guarantee operational excellence through uniform service delivery, food quality, strong performance tracking systems, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Build and direct an effective leadership team while engaging and managing relationships with boards, investors, landlords, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, or related disciplines; an MBA is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 15 years in the food and beverage or hospitality industry, with at least 8 years in senior executive or group leadership capacities.
• Demonstrable experience in scaling independent restaurant concepts across the UAE and GCC, including new openings, market entry, or franchise operations.
• Deep understanding of casual and premium-casual dining sectors, with a particular enthusiasm for Japanese and Asian culinary culture.
• Robust expertise in commercial and financial principles including P&L management, budgeting, economic feasibility, and negotiation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the UAE hospitality market, including regulations, landlord relations, and sector dynamics.
• A strategic and pragmatic leader with entrepreneurial flair, excellent communication prowess, and adeptness in stakeholder management.
• Proficient with technology and data analysis, possessing high levels of integrity and professionalism, and willingness to travel as needed.
